Great phone, would recommend the A16 for anyone who is looking for a good phone but don't want to spend thousands of rands on a new one, great quality and functionality. I am happy with my purchase.

I would not recommend purchasing an A16 model unless it is offered at a discounted price and the buyer is in urgent need of an inexpensive device. The primary concern with the A16 is that most Galaxy A16S units tend to lose their fingerprint functionality over time, and I'veused mine for no more than a year. This feature is particularly important because the fingerprint sensor on Galaxy devices unlocks all major features and applications on the phone, making it a crucial security and convenience feature that enhances overall usability. Losing this function can significantly impact the user experience, especially since the fingerprint unlock is often faster and more secure than alternative methods.
