The Realme 6 has one of the better displays, performance and battery life we’ve seen on a budget smartphone, but the quad-camera isn’t quite as good in reality as it sounds on paper. Still, at under $500, it’s one of the best value devices out there.

For the starting price of Rs 12,999 for the base variant, Realme 6 has a lot to offer. The smartphone offers a satisfactory display, good battery life, performance that matters and a premium design. However, the only major complaint we have is in terms of the camera quality which might be due to the post-processing capability of the MediaTek Helio G90T processor considering Realme 6 Pro which has the exact same camera setup with Qualcomm processor offers much better image quality. At the given price, the smartphone goes head-to-head with the smartphones from Samsung and Xiaomi and we admit that Realme 6 is a formidable contender. Well, if you are out there for the latest and greatest possible feature under a strict budget and don’t want to sacrifice on the performance or looks or the battery life, Realme 6 is the smartphone for you. However, if you can spare a little extra buck, then Realme 6 Pro may well be the better choice.
