I purchsed the Nokia 1200 as a surprise for my Dads birthday. I chose this one as I thought it was simple to use but he could not get used to it so i had to send it back. I found it to be one of the easiest mobiles I have used and the service from DIGITAL TECHNOLGY to be quick so for me I give it 4 Stars but only because I had to send it back.

about looks or gimmicks, this phone does the biz. I had a sophistocated phone with camera and video but the battery performance was appalling - needed to charge it each day. This one does texts and calls and the battery goes for 10 days easily (but I don't use it much!)

Bought this phone after dropping my rather nice flip top phone and breaking the screen. I am a simple user, texts and phone calls are all I require so thought a simple phone would meet my needs. The Nokia 1200 is extreemly robust, easy to use and inexpensive. However, the key pad is a bit squishy and you need quite good dexterity as the keys are quite close together and need to be tapped positively with a fingernail. If I was to repalce it again I think I would probably look for a slightly more sophisticated hand set with a few more features and colour screen. Saying that it is a fantastic phone for anyone who does not require any refinement or additional features and not too worried about dropping it.
