De Google Pixel 8 Pro blinkt uit met zijn indrukwekkende camera’s, slimme AI-functies en een prachtig, helder OLED-scherm. De bouwkwaliteit is hoogwaardig en het toestel voelt premium aan. Google belooft zeven jaar updates, wat uniek is in deze prijsklasse. Wel laadt de batterij trager dan bij veel concurrenten en kan het toestel warm worden bij zware belasting. Sommige AI-functies zijn niet voor iedereen even nuttig. Het scherm is zeer goed, maar niet het allerhelderst vergeleken met de nieuwste vlaggenschepen. Over het algemeen is dit een uitstekende keuze voor wie fotografie, software-ondersteuning en gebruiksgemak belangrijk vindt.

De Pixel 8 levert op alle fronten absolute topkwaliteit, en omdat dit toestel me zo goed bevalt, weet ik zeker dat mijn volgende smartphone weer een Pixel zal zijn.

Had the phone for just under two years. The hardware has started to fail such that the phone won't log into the wifi at all. After working with Google Pixel customer service it was determined that the phone is unable to properly execute the drivers and power usage between the mobile network receiver and the wifi receiver. The device regulates power between the two using Adaptive Control. I had to halt Adaptive Control to use the Wifi. Else it would NEVER find or connect to any Wifi network. Also, relative to the camera. It isn't as good as many believe. I am a professional photographer and will at times use my phone when unable to use my Sony Mirrorless Camera. It works well with videos but the actual picture quality is terrible! When I travel I have my wife bring her Samsung and Apple phones, both of which have FAR better picture quality. If I had to do this again I would NOT get a Pixel. I had a Samsung prior and am disappointed I changed.

Had the phone less than a month and the screen went out. Had the screen repaired and 11 months later the same thing happen but now Google won't replace or fix the phone because it is out of warranty. Very unsatisfied with this product and how repairs are handled.

Het totaal pakket is voor 349 euro ongeëvenaard, dan heb je wel de roze versie maar dat los je op met een Spigen Hoesje van 12 euro. Uitstekende Camera's die dit prijspeil ver overtreffen. Gesloten OS-en blijft altijd behelpen, bij Android nog meer dan bij Apple. Wel een groot voordeel is de beloofde 7 jaar ondersteuning. Zo als ik het begrepen heb is deze Pixel 8 wel een mainstream Phone en zijn de 9 en 10 dat juist minder. Eerste gebruik, de Pixel 8 was leeg @ 4 procent accu. Opladen met snellader duurde 2,5 uur. Oud exemplaar, Datum mei 2023. Lelijk standaard homescreen met kristallen en jaren 70 stijl. Het toestel is spekglad zonder hoesje. Het camera eiland steekt fors uit, de Roze kleur is leijk. Allemaal opgelost met Spigen Black hoesje Roze geeft nu 150 euro voordeel tov Zwart etc. Voor 12 euro ben je er vanaf.
