De Google Pixel 8 biedt een uitstekende camera-ervaring met geavanceerde AI-functies, een heldere macro-modus en betrouwbare prestaties dankzij de Tensor G3-chip. Het compacte ontwerp en het scherpe 120Hz OLED-scherm maken het toestel prettig in gebruik. Wel zijn er nadelen: de selfiecamera heeft geen autofocus, er ontbreekt een handmatige cameramodus en de batterijduur is gemiddeld, vooral bij intensief gebruik van het scherm. Voor wie een krachtige, compacte Android-telefoon zoekt met sterke fotokwaliteit en langdurige software-updates, is de Pixel 8 een zeer aantrekkelijke keuze, maar wie meer controle over fotografie wil of langere accuduur zoekt, moet deze punten meenemen in de overweging.

Do yourself a favour and don't purchase from Google. They are the worst company to deal with. I purchased the Pixel 8 less than six months ago and all of a sudden my Bluetooth is not turning on at all. It seems that others have had the same problem and it's a hardware fault. To get a replacement under warranty they have to assess the phone first, which means weeks without a phone. If there is any damage whatsoever on the phone the warranty is void. I challenge anybody to show me a phone that doesn't have a scratch on it....

Faulty screen not covered by warranty after 12 months. There is a known issue with the display that it gets a green haze which worsens to solid vertical lines. JB sent my phone to repair agent who refused repair because of a broken sim tray. Terrible outcome for a phone bought 15 months ago. Wasn't my first but will be my last Google device.

Terrible. I have the Pixel 8 just over 1 year and since the 1st day it was full of sofware glitches and intermitent hardware problems. I have to take the phone to warranty with screen issues and now it won't charge over 3%. Really crap phone for the price.

Great phone and a good price. I wanted an upgrade on my previous phone to have a better camera, and the camera on the Pixel 8 is fantastic.
