De Fairphone 5 256GB Zwart 5G is ideaal voor wie duurzaamheid en repareerbaarheid belangrijk vindt. Het toestel is modulair opgebouwd, waardoor je onderdelen makkelijk zelf kunt vervangen. De software-ondersteuning is uitzonderlijk lang, met updates tot 2031, en de batterij is verwisselbaar. De camera’s zijn goed voor deze prijsklasse, maar de processor is niet geschikt voor zware games of intensief multitasken. Ook ontbreekt een 3.5mm jack en zijn schermhelderheid en speakers gemiddeld. De prijs ligt relatief hoog, maar daar krijg je een eerlijk en duurzaam toestel voor terug.

Really loving the Fairphone 5 so far! The handset seems pretty robust, the screen is bright and responsive, the speaker is louder than I was anticipating! Camera is okay and the sound recorder is garbage, but everything else is decent enough. Honestly, though, the main attraction of the phone is how easy it's supposed to be to fix, and the absence of planned obsolescence; neither of which are features I can comment on at this time. Hasn't received a phone killing update as yet?
