De Behringer C-2 is een populaire stereoset condensatormicrofoons die vooral gewaardeerd wordt om zijn uitzonderlijke prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. De geluidskwaliteit is verrassend goed voor deze prijsklasse, met een vlak frequentiebereik en laag eigenruisniveau. Dit maakt ze geschikt voor uiteenlopende toepassingen zoals studio-opnames, live-optredens en streaming. De microfoons zijn veelzijdig inzetbaar en kunnen hoge geluidsdruk aan, waardoor ze goed werken als overheads of bij luide instrumenten. Wel zijn er enkele nadelen: de pad en high-pass filter kunnen niet tegelijk gebruikt worden, en het hoog kan soms wat scherp klinken. Ook is de bouwkwaliteit degelijk maar niet te vergelijken met duurdere professionele modellen. Voor beginners en budgetgebruikers zijn ze echter een uitstekende keuze.

Crisp clean sound. Good for filling in, where the low end is not a priority. (Overheads, guitar top end, etc.). Surprisingly well constructed for the price. I will be buying again.

I wanted a pair of home studio mics for general music and podcast use. These are multipurpose, condenser mics supplied as a matched stereo pair so either independently or together can be used in a wide range of situations to capture individual instruments or a complete sound stage. Such good value for a boxed matched pair of well made condenser mics.

These are not superb microphones but for the price and to make a stereo recording they are fine. The box is good (handy when it is a kit of bits to assemble) and for less demanding applications these seem fine. Excellent value while I save up for my matched pair of AKG C451s.

Bought as a replacement for lost/or stolen 5 year old pair. I considered others, more expensive others, but bought the C2s again. There was simply nothing that came close on build quality, sound and range of applications for the money. Despatched from Kôln to Scotland, arrived within 4 days of placing order, so hats off to DV247 too, for service as well as price.
