This center channel speaker is the truth! When I equalized it with my receiver it really made my shows come to life!

This is a really nice center channel speaker. Nice mid tones and highs. Some base is there also. You could use it as a stand alone speaker also. Looks good too. A great addition to anyone's home theater system.

What a very nice center speaker. Vocals from movies are clear and sharp. Music sounds good through it also and it could be a stand alone speaker if one wanted it to be.Love this speaker. Much better than my last one, which cost 2 times as much. It looks really nice also. Buy it and you will be happy with it.

This sounds great, and would be an upgrade for just about anyone coming up from a kit / Home Theater-in-a-Box. But two warnings: 1. Ensure your receiver (which should always be the FIRST upgrade anyhow) can manually specify output ohms (4,6,8). You CAN run "too low" with mismatched ohms. You CANNOT run "too high". Since the Yamahas like this are 6 ohms, set the output level on your receiver to 6ohms. 8 will damage 6. 2. This thing is ridiculously huge for a center channel! Seriously, use the measurements listed here to determine whether or not it will fit. I hadn't planned on getting out a saw just to upgrade speakers, but that's where we're at now (since this is a non-returnable item).
