De Yamaha MusicCast 20 biedt een indrukwekkende geluidskwaliteit met krachtige bas en heldere middentonen. Dankzij de uitgebreide streamingmogelijkheden en multiroom-ondersteuning is hij veelzijdig inzetbaar. De speaker werkt met Alexa en Google Assistant, maar heeft geen ingebouwde spraakassistent. Het compacte ontwerp past in elke kamer en de MusicCast app is stabiel en gebruiksvriendelijk. Nadelen zijn het ontbreken van analoge en USB-ingangen, en de hoge tonen zijn soms minder gedetailleerd. De prijs ligt hoger dan bij veel andere slimme speakers, maar de kwaliteit en functies maken dit deels goed.

Versatile addition to an existing Yamaha system. Great sound. Allows synchronized music in several different rooms. Can be configured in an existing sound system in one room also. Alexa capable is a plus .

B/c of Covid delays it took well over a year for me to get these speakers. No one - not Crutchfield not B&H not Amazon - had them. I looked at several different solutions to get rear surround for my living room but no matter what wireless was always the best least expensive solution. And these Musiccast speakers were the only ones that did it well and minimized the "hillbilly hacker feel" of the solution. Very glad I waited. The work GREAT as surrounds and augment the music listening experience. One thing I wish was better - and this is a fault of the receiver not the speakers - but I wish my Yamaha RX-V6A receiver would measure and balance sound in more than one location.

Provides great stereo sound in 3 rooms of my house. Wi-Fi connection not reliable on one of the units despite all 3 being approx. same distance from the Wi-Fi router. I installed a brand-new high speed modem and router just before these were installed.
