De Orange OBC112 is een lichte, compacte bascabinet met een krachtig en vol geluid, vooral geliefd bij rockbassisten. De bouwkwaliteit en het iconische design worden vaak geprezen. Dankzij het 400W vermogen is de kast geschikt voor optredens, maar het geluid is minder veelzijdig en kan zonder tweeter wat donker klinken. Sommige gebruikers merken op dat de rubberen voetjes kunnen schuiven. Voor wie een draagbare, stevige bascabinet zoekt met een kenmerkend Orange-geluid, is dit een sterke keuze.

This is working well with my Acoustic Image Clarus SL amp and Coda speaker to give extra volume to my double bass for larger venues. So I'd recommend it for that kind of use. It's reasonably light and portable as well for a bass cabinet. Pity it doesn't come with a cover though. I've had to order that for an extra £24.

I was looking for two 12 inch cabs that would deliver tight punchy bass with reasonable depth. I has a Hartke 12 inch high drive, which is impressive but it didn't have enough warmth for me. I considered 2x the new Eden cabs which are cheaper but having read about Lavoice speakers, I took the plunge. I am not disappointed. all controls on the veyron at 12 O'clock and just a little bass boost on my Musicman Stingray 5 and wow, punchy lows and volume that just keeps coming. Early days but so far very happy.
