De Neumann KH 120-II staat bekend om zijn extreem neutrale en lineaire geluidsweergave, wat hem zeer geschikt maakt voor professioneel mixen. De ingebouwde DSP-engine biedt automatische kamerafstemming (met MA 1, apart verkrijgbaar), waardoor de monitor zich aanpast aan verschillende ruimtes. Ondanks het compacte formaat levert hij diepe bassen en hoge SPL, met een zeer scherpe stereo-imaging dankzij minimale toleranties. De energiezuinige klasse D-versterker en auto-standby zijn pluspunten. Nadelen zijn de relatief hoge prijs, het feit dat de MA 1 kit apart moet worden aangeschaft en dat de basweergave in grotere ruimtes beperkt kan zijn. Voor kleinere studio’s en kritische luisteraars is dit echter een topkeuze.

The KH 120 II is built like a tank and basically improves upon the first one in every way, except for the fact that it currently doesn't work with the MA-1 software. Excellent sounding monitors and if you have room correction software already, they're a great choice. Otherwise, don't buy this if you need the room correction software. I'll revisit this review if Neumann corrects the issues with the software.
