35mm Thin. These things sound GREAT and can get really really loud. They don't have much bass at all so make sure you use it with a subwoofer. Easy to install, comes with Allen wrenches and bookshelf stands, along with wall mounts and wall mounting guides. The angle on the stands isn't much, but with the height to base ratio, it would have fallen over if you had angled it upward more than the 10ish degrees it allows you to do.

I'd prefer to give these 5 stars for home theater; 3 1/2 to 4 for music only. The good: Attractive, nice stands, easy to install on the wall. Great for home theater considering their size and price. When used with a good subwoofer in a small to mid size room, they produce high-quality, lively, full-bodied sound. Less good: 1. I sometimes feel they could use more clarity with voices, though the problem might be with the source material. 2. For 2 channel music, I recommend them primarily for low volume listening. If pushed to fill the room, they can sound brittle, especially with female voices and brass. I presently use the KEFs with a REL subwoofer, which works best with speakers that have a flat response to 80hz or below. The best crossover point I found between the REL and KEFs is at 100hz. The ideal subwoofer for the KEFs would likely have low extension comparable in depth and quality to the REL, but with an ability to crossover at 120hz or slightly higher.

Just what we needed. Center speaker with good audio but low profile.

This is a great par of speakers if your problem is space. You definitely are going to need a subwoofer. The premium price is what you pay for the brand not exactly for the sound quality . But, I really needed something this size and this wore the only option I've founded.

I don't know how they did it, but these are amazing little speakers! They sound much larger than they really are. For a bit of a price premium, you get the sound of a small bookshelf speaker in a package only 1.5" thick. While they won't deliver room-rattling bass, they will surprise (and frankly amaze) with what they are able to do. Perfect for satellites. You'll probably want a sub for 120Hz and down if used as mains.
