This is worse than a thousand piece puzzle. The pieces are minuscule and are mostly black and very similar. I doubt that any 8 year old I know could get through it without significant help from a patient adult with great spatial skills. When it said LEGO, I assumed there would be parts to be joined at the joints. The picture shows an already built model. One lost piece and you are out of luck. Beware!

Bought this for my 6 year old son. He already has the Chewbacca one and enjoyed putting it together. Since he was able to assemble Chewbacca himself I'm sure he's going to live this one as well

Great device to get even with friends. Just unleash these on their kids, the kids have a great time as the Lego set is awesome. Then you get to hear the muffled curses of their parent as the step on them.
