really fun little set for my grand daughter...Legos are alway a hit...so glad they have more for girls now. would highly recommend.

This was a gift for a little girl living overseas, to help her get into playing legos with her older siblings. She was very excited to get her very own set, with items that are specifically designed for a little girl to love playing pretend with.

Dr. Julie--named by and beloved by one granddaughter-- disappeared (my sense is that she might have been taken home), so we re-ordered and now have two hedgehogs who need attention, while the second vet ambulance was put together by a cousin who tranported it home. Dr. Julie also is able to take care of any number of small animals collected by the granddaughter's mom as a child. I actually received this set last Christmas from a son who knows I have a fondness for hedgehogs (illegal to own in California) so representational figures have to do. This small set accounts for countless hours of imaginative play...and more to come.

This has to be one of the best Lego Friends sets! It is a shame it is now retired. I bought this for my nieces along with Emma's Lifeguard Station, and the Vet Ambulance seemed to be the favourite. My animal-loving niece was immediately taken with the hedgehog, which is very cute, and they both still play with the little ambulance. The ambulance was quite easy to build, although an adult might need to help a younger child, and it looks good when built. There is space for Emma to"drive" the vehicle and the hedgehog or another animal or human patient can fit in the back. It would be nice to have more animal rescue, emergency and medical themed sets in the Friends range- the jungle rescue theme is also great!
