HP LaserJet Enterprise M527dn Laser A4 1200 x 1200 DPI 43 ppm

This printer is used at my workplace and it has been non-stop problems for us. Its been taken away four, maybe five times JUST in the last three months that I've been working here and it's only a year old! I'm not sure how many parts they've replaced or how many times they've had to update the firmware or software but it is getting very frustrating. It would freeze when I tried to copy/faxing double sided papers and I'd have to turn it off and on again to get it work. Then the command screen would just freeze randomly in sleep mode and I couldn't use any functions at all! Even now when the machine pulls in papers from the top to copy or fax it sounds terrible, like it is struggling with that simple task. I don't think this machine is truly built for high-volume work. Maybe we just got a lemon, but this machine has been nothing but an endless source of frustration and problems for the staff at my workplace.

Great Product and better interface comparing the last model. One thing you need to be careful. This printer has an internal Standard 2.5 hard drive and you need to train your personnel on how to turn off the printer. My printer has already failed the HDD and i upgraded with SDD HDD to avoid that issue.

Nice printer. Awesome software and customization options.

Nice upgrade from our M3035's. Haven't used the fax (who does anymore?) but the other features all work as advertised. We picked this because the next smaller/lower MFP from HP has a panel that is a PITA to use. This one has a qwerty keyboard on the bright, color, and very easy to read touchscreen operator's panel. We'll be buying more of these over the next couple months.

Ergonomically, not the best. The LCD screen gets in the way of the feeder and the interface is very difficult to understand. But it seems to work good
