Received this printer unable to set up. Did everything online and I paper instructions said to do. Brother said it was a dud if error message returned after following all the steps. Such a shame that I had to find out free returns (which I checked before purchasing for instances like this) did not show the seller charging 20 percent of a restocking fee. No one has responded to offer an exchange. Printer seems cool if I could get the thing to work. Perfect size and seems heavy duty for its size. As of now I rate 0 stars because I just spent almost 400 bucks on a hunk of junk.

We bought an HP printer that broke just after the warrantee expired. Since it was going to cost at least $100 for support and HP technical support is NONEXISTENT, my friend recommended Brother. This printer was easy to set up and works like a charm. All new printers push you to enroll in their ink subscription but Brother is more reasonable than HP. Overall we are very pleased with this printer.
