Smeg CGF01 - Blauw

Practical, efficient and very stylish. Unfortunately I wasn't aware this was supplied from German store and consequently had a European plug. It is supplied with a fitted adapter but it is an awkward shape which therfore does not fit flush with the wall.

This thing is ridiculously gorgeous. It's art. You will not regret having this for the rest of your life.

I bought this grinder because we have a matching Smeg toaster. I got it as a Christmas gift for my wife. However, I would NEVER recommend one to anyone. It does not feed the beans into the grinder. So when grinding I have to constantly monitor and keep tapping the unit over and over every few seconds to get the beans to drop from the hopper into the grinder. I put up with this at first because I wanted my wife to be happy, but it is increasingly annoying and every time I have to tap the hopper in makes me even more frustrated as I think about how much this grinder cost in the first place. Should have returned it immediately after the first grind. Do not buy! You will be sorry.

Like the title says, it's stunning. It's basically a sexy vintage Lamborghini of coffee grinders, and it's got the price point to match, but it was a treat to myself, and I LOVE it. It's quieter and faster than any coffee grinder I've ever owned, it looks delightful, is a joy to use, and feels absolutely SOLID. It was a BIG purchase, but I don't regret it.
