Impossible to evaluate immediately after purchase. Yes, it works as expected, but the real test is for how long. Longevity is key. Ask me again in 5 years!

Improvement Points: formatted size crops off a sizeable chunk of space so its more like a 3.6tb drive. oh well

Good Points: Exactly what I wanted, fast, or fast enough for my needs. It made an excellent replacement for a failed external HD that failed after 8 years use. The original support hardware and case are now back in use. It was protectively packaged in a suitable package and arrived promptly. Improvement Points: I did not have any issues that I felt should be improved, the whole thing worked well, with a good outcome. No image, this was a WD disk put into an old Seagate enclosure.

Good Points: It's a hard drive for a NAS and it stores stuff :-) Worked in my NAS even though it wasn't on the official list of supported drives. Improvement Points: I believe CMR drives offer higher performance but for my home NAS use, this seems to be fine. Took a long time (several days) to add to the RAID pool in my Synology NAS but I was also changing the RAID level at the same time so not sure if that added extra time to the process.
