This printer is awful to set up especially when you change internet as after setting it to one internet it is nearly impossible to change the connection huge waste of time and doesn’t even print colours clearly DONT BUY invest in a higher quality printer

worst printers out there i’m on my second they sometimes work and then they don’t they make too much noise pissing about starting up and aligning avoid cannon at all costs

Absolutely terrible to try and set up, worst printer I have ever had ! Gave up on it, wasted day of my life trying to get this printer set up.

Delivered well on time by royal mail and handed to me. It was up and working without any problems in 8 minutes . So easy to get going. Great printer.

I bought this as a replacement for a previous, excellent Canon Pixma model which lasted over 10 years. This is a more basic version than the previous one and time will tell if the print quality is good enough. However, the connection to WiFi was not straightforward, the supplied instructions not consistent with the app or even the sequence of buttons to press and when. I consider myself very tech literate and found this a 30 minute challenge to set up. Fingers crossed it doesn't ever need reconnecting because it may just lie in my office unused for a few years. Very disappointed compared to my experience with the previous model.
