Shure SM137 Professional Instrument Condenser Microphone

The Shure SM137 is very clear and flat, and with a controllable proximity effect. The flat frequency response in particular makes this a superb performer as far as versatility goes, being well suited to most applications in a studio style setting. As far as small diaphragm condensers go, this is as accurate as any, and with the Shure brand it's most certainly hardy. Also an excellent price for a very professional microphone.
