Bought a year ago and used for hiking and daily wear during snowmelt. Super flattering shoe and does its job! Very comfy. I did size down by half a size.

This is my 4th pair of Salomon XA Gore-tex shoes. I've always had size 7, sadly these are much too big in the toe box (by almost an inch). I've been waiting for better color combos to re-order and was taking a leap on these. The black/bleached aqua/harbo are not the same as the photos. The light color is pale PINK, very different from the online pics and the teal is more green than blue. I'm disappointed since I was planning to use right away as I love these shoes for everyday winter wear.

I've been using Salomon hiking shoes for over 15 years. During that time, I haven’t bought many pairs, even though I wear them daily. I can honestly say I haven't found better shoes than Salomon. My previous pair was the Salomon X Ultra 4 GORE-TEX hiking shoes, and after three years, it’s time for a change. It’s not that they fell apart; the soles just loosened up and lost traction, which means they’ve worn out. The Men’s XA Pro 3D V9 GTX shoes seem lighter and more comfortable. After wearing them all day in Iceland last week, my legs didn’t even feel tired after walking several kilometers. So far, it’s the best purchase for 2024. I highly recommend them! I recommend these shoes to everyone—I’ve already converted my whole family to Salomon, and I’m still spreading the word!
