Seagate Expansion Desktop 4TB

Not noisy at all, works well, copies at around 250mb/s, which is not bad for an HDD. I copy 200 to 400gb files for backup daily and it works nicely in the background. when this one is full, will definitely consider a 2nd one.

Been using the Seagate product for years. the careful packaging makes the drive arrive safely. Works straight out of the box.

WD heeft vanaf 8 TB CMR schijven ipv SMR Seagate heeft dit vanaf 10 TB. Daaronder is alles SMR, wat troep is. Op dit moment vrij prijzig (per datum van schrijven € 300 voor 10 TB wat neer komt op 3 cent per GB). Maar goed, AI is goed voor ons allen. Anyhow: steady voor plex, wat ik nodig heb. Al jaren seagate gebruiker, nul klachten.

It was excellent just how imagined although some few mb were off lol

Had 6TB of clients data on this drive and it stopped working for no reason after 7 months. It just went off and didn't come back on no matter what I tried. All my clients data was on that drive. And now I can't even contact the manufacturer to fix it?? Is there even a way to get a hold of the person??
