De DeWalt DCM561PBS-XJ is een professionele grastrimmer die indruk maakt met zijn krachtige borstelloze motor en uitstekende balans. Gebruikers waarderen vooral het lage geluidsniveau en de mogelijkheid om de schacht te splitsen voor compacte opslag. De trimmer snijdt effectief door lang gras en onkruid, waarbij de twee snelheidsinstellingen flexibiliteit bieden tussen looptijd en vermogen. De accu houdt gemiddeld 60-79 minuten mee, afhankelijk van de capaciteit. Wel zijn er aandachtspunten: de montage van de beschermkap is niet intuïtief en veel gebruikers hebben YouTube-video's nodig voor hulp. De gesplitste schacht moet goed worden vastgeschroefd om wiebelend gebruik te voorkomen. De motorbehuizing verzamelt veel grasresten die regelmatig verwijderd moeten worden. Bij zeer lang gras kan materiaal vastklemmen tussen de kop en motor. Het gewicht van 4,1 kg kan bij langdurig gebruik belastend zijn, hoewel de balans dit deels compenseert. Voor particuliere tuinen is dit een uitstekende keuze binnen het DeWalt XR-systeem.

I have always had a petrol strimmer and thought that electric and especially 18v for not be good enough for anything other than light strimming. Wrong this beast is robust (typical DeWalt) handles pretty much anything, and, best of all, it's simple to use. No trying to get it started. The only negatives are its quite heavy, although my wife handles it fine and loves it! Plus the assembly instructions could be clearer. Overall really pleased I made the switch from petrol to 18V. And I now have a 5Ah battery to add to the collection!
