Have an R710 now. Had this RAM in my old R210II. Works very well in the Dell PowerEdge series. Cheaper then buying RAM from Dell.

Kingston has dynamite technical support and RMA procedures should you ever need them. I have not for this RAM, but having worked with them previously, this is the reason I chose Kingston over competing products.

Just because it is the least expensive option does not mean that it is cheap or slow. I'm not sure I've ever seen a difference between high performance DIMMs and ones like this where a human could tell the difference in performance, so spending the extra money doesn't seem to make sense. I chose a single stick, since I wanted to purchase the highest density my motherboard could support, but I didn't need 16 GB right away. If I do need more, I will be buying this. I installed this in an Asus P9D-M motherboard with no issues.

Kingston produces excellent memory that I do not expect it to exhibit any failure. However in a batch of 16 sticks I got one which keeps correcting on parity errors. So 1/16 failed within less than a year. There may be more failures, but it is hard to predict such failures because you need to be accessing the upper memory with particular 32bits words!
