Halo 4 biedt indrukwekkende graphics, een diepgaand verhaal en veel variatie in gameplay. Vooral de multiplayer en matchmaking worden vaak geprezen. Wel is de campagne kort en soms gehaast, en ontbreekt co-op matchmaking. Spartan Ops wordt als minder uitdagend ervaren en het spel vraagt veel opslagruimte op de Xbox 360. Over het algemeen is Halo 4 een sterke shooter met enkele duidelijke minpunten voor specifieke spelers.

Never was big into halo but being an xbox fan I had to play at least one. And I really only played it for the one player campaign experience. Even though this halo 4 and I'm new to the series I didn't feel lost the prologue explained the backstory well enough to enjoy this games story. The graphics surprised me better then expected. The game play was what I expected but the only thing that got me was that I like the human weapons and you seem to run out of amo for them fast and always end up using alien guns so its kind like why even have the human guns but other then that good game

Many people bash on this game but I enjoyed every moment of the intense and beautiful campaign. True Halo fans appreciate the effort 343 Industries put into it.
