Prince of Persia - Trilogy - Windows

Still gorgeous in 2026, this game is a masterpiece. Ihope this saga will have a come back one day

This is my favorite game from my childhood. It amazing to see how well it holds up almost 20 years later. Will finish it again. Thank you GOG for preserving this game.

Looks just like it did the first time I played it 15 years ago. In hindsight I can tell that this game was maybe a bit rushed in certain aspects compared to the other PoPs but it luckily makes up for that in storytelling. Although the dialogue can sometimes be a bit cheesy, the arch as a whole is a classic hero's journey. The ending is perfect if one is left expecting a followup, otherwise it's a bit bitter. In any case, had a blast revisiting this one.

Also, an Xbox controller is not recognized, despite being baked into the menu and GoG showing it has controller support. Xbox 360 Controller is greyed out in the game's menu.

It's a nice game, weaker story than SoT trilogy, better vibes and zoroastrian aesthetics, and quite a lot more "dreamy". The game loop becomes very repetitive.
