Assassin's Creed: Revelations biedt een sterk verhaal en een mooie afsluiting van de Ezio-trilogie. De nieuwe gameplay-elementen zoals de hookblade en bommen zorgen voor meer variatie, en de sfeer van Constantinopel is goed uitgewerkt met sterke graphics en muziek. Toch voelt het spel qua gameplay en structuur erg vertrouwd en mist het echte vernieuwing. Sommige nieuwe features, zoals den defense, zijn niet goed uitgewerkt en technische bugs kunnen frustreren. Ook zijn de omgevingen en personages soms herhalend. Voor fans van de serie is het een waardige afsluiter, maar wie op zoek is naar iets nieuws kan teleurgesteld worden.

The worst game out of the series by far in my opinion. I played a few hours and got tired of the game machanics. There's too many tactical/strategic battles that are boring and tiresome and they quickly become something to dread. They seem too much like a board game to me.

Compared to the last 2, there isn't much difference in terms of game play, but in a way that is a good thing. The strength of the game lies with the characters and the storyline. The addition of the hook blade and the bombs makes fighting a hell of a lot more fun and less tedious.
