WWE '12 biedt verbeterde gameplay, soepelere animaties en veel creatieve opties, waardoor het spel aantrekkelijk is voor fans die graag hun eigen shows en superstars maken. De WWE Universe-modus is uitgebreider en realistischer dan voorheen. Toch zijn er belangrijke nadelen: de Road to WrestleMania-modus wordt vaak als te gescript en frustrerend ervaren, en er zijn weinig echt nieuwe functies ten opzichte van eerdere delen. Daarnaast melden veel gebruikers technische problemen en bugs. Voor spelers die vooral van creatieve vrijheid houden, is dit een sterke titel, maar wie op zoek is naar vernieuwing of een soepele singleplayer-ervaring kan teleurgesteld raken.

Bought as an add on gift for my son. We've had to take the disc in for resurfacing after a few months. Never had to do that with any of our 30+ WII games.

Great game bought it for Christmas and today in June they just made updates to keep current with the active wrestlers.
