L.A. Noire delivers a cinematic detective experience set in meticulously recreated 1947 Los Angeles. The game's standout feature is its groundbreaking facial animation technology, allowing players to read suspects during interrogations with unprecedented realism. The narrative is strong and cohesive, particularly during the Homicide desk cases, with exceptional voice acting throughout. However, potential buyers should note that investigation gameplay can become repetitive over the lengthy campaign, feeling more like searching for collectibles than genuine detective work. The interrogation system, while innovative, suffers from occasionally unclear or illogical answer choices that can frustrate players. Action elements like shooting and driving are functional but less refined than other Rockstar games. The beautiful open world is underutilized with limited side activities. Best suited for players who prioritize story and atmosphere over varied gameplay, and those willing to accept a slower, more methodical pace than typical action games.

Parents read perfect for twelve and up

T|IN this game you are dectective who take dow n a local drug cartel. There is shooting and blood, but no gore. There is no sex or nudity in this game but there is a mention of someone being raped and your character is uncomfortable with the comment. There is language, but itsn't frequent. The content in this game is EXACTLY the same amount of content that is in assassin's creed. Parents, please if you let your child play assassin's creed then let them play this, they will enjoy this game a ton.

Revisited

Had played awhile ago and just blew through the missions and didnt pay attention to the story. Great graphics, and is amazingly fun and the story is thrilling.

Superb

I think its exactly great for kids above 9. Because there is minimal violence(in my opinion) And yes maybe some swears, but actually i think kids would understand(if above 9)
