Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (Day One Edition) wordt geprezen om zijn uitstekende leveldesign, waarbij spelers veel vrijheid hebben om missies op hun eigen manier aan te pakken. De stealth- en RPG-elementen zijn sterk uitgewerkt en de cyberpunk-wereld is sfeervol en gedetailleerd. De augmentaties bieden veel variatie in speelstijl. Wel wordt het spel bekritiseerd vanwege een abrupt en onaf aanvoelend einde, en het verhaal is minder ambitieus dan dat van de voorganger. Ook zijn er lichte technische problemen zoals framedrops gemeld. Voor liefhebbers van stealth en keuzevrijheid is dit echter een aanrader.

clunky, poor controller layout, super finnicky as far as stealth goes...all around pretty terrible.

A very mixed feeling about this game. Beautiful fidelity wise, really honed in and high quality gameplay. Really enjoyed the open world WAY more then HR. Also enjoyed the dialogue more. It is a much smaller game in scope (exhausted my first playthrough @20 hours whereas HR was 40 something hours), but you can tell its in lieu of having a more tighter game. Some of the characters are poor but overall, great game. Dont like some of the art design changes (looking at you stun gun/tranq rifle), it kinda loses its avant-gardeness that HR has. Still a great time

went to start the game. the game wouldn't start. unistalled and reinstalled, still wouldn't start. verified the files, then it started. started playing, couldn't save progress, have to restart every time i want to play it. haven't found the solution and having to reistall yet again to see if that fixes the problem
