Dungeon Siege III biedt een sterke co-op ervaring en veel loot, waardoor het samen spelen leuk en toegankelijk is. De visuele effecten zijn indrukwekkend en de besturing werkt goed, vooral op consoles. Wel zijn er nadelen: alleen de host bewaart voortgang in co-op, en je kunt geen eigen personage maken. De mini-map en statistieken zijn soms verwarrend, en de audio hapert af en toe. Voor wie van actie-RPG’s houdt en graag samen speelt, is dit een solide keuze, maar singleplayer fans en liefhebbers van diepe RPG-systemen kunnen enkele beperkingen ervaren.

the end quest is nearly impossible to complete using AI character. My husband had to jump in and out for me to finish. He came in when the AI was getting low on health and quit attacking minions... He also came in when the end game character was 'down' for a short time, because the AI usually only stood there and didn't do any damage. Overall, it was a fun game. .

probably ok have not tried yet but had awhile, love the series prior to 3 so I expect the same

Got this to play a two player multiplayer with my husband. We both like rpgs and games such as Baldurs Gate so had high hopes for this. However several hours into this we both had to just give up on it. The plot isn't engaging nor is the world. There is a bit of humour to things which is a nice change but the characters are so generic that it didn't matter much. In the end though most of that is peripheral as long as the game mechanics are good. But they are just dull. Four characters with little customisation. This leads to item collection and levelling up seeming pointless and lacklustre. It isn't the worst game by any means but you could do far better with your money and time. We gave up on it in the end.... and we were playing multiplayer. It's probably even more tedious to play in single player mode. I hope this review was of help.

Kicking gameplay and great character classes make this game a ball if you're looking to fill that hack and slash itch. Dungeon siege 3, lacks the charm and wit of sacred 3 and the polish of diablo 3, but it still holds it's own as one of the big consul hack and slash RPG games with more consequence based gameplay and decent side quest. For fans of the series this game is far better then throne of agony and worth a play through.
