School Tycoon is makkelijk op te pakken en biedt kleurrijke, toegankelijke gameplay, vooral geschikt voor wie nieuw is met tycoon-games. De vrije bouwmodus en variatie in gebouwen maken het aantrekkelijk voor creatieve spelers. Toch zijn er grote nadelen: de AI werkt vaak niet goed, waardoor studenten en personeel niet logisch reageren. Morale en spelbalans voelen geforceerd, en bugs bij het laden van spellen kunnen je voortgang verpesten. Ook komen natuurrampen te vaak voor, wat het spelplezier vermindert. Voor casual spelers is het leuk, maar wie meer diepgang zoekt, zal snel teleurgesteld zijn.

The premise for the game wasnt bad, the graphics could have been better. THE THING I HATED THE MOST; DISASTERS!!!! Once you got ahead of the game, got some cash and students, BOOM! earthquake or tornado. Who thought that up? You CANT turn them off either, i tried looking for cheat codes. Its a lame game, its not a good (im bored, need a good tycoon game to pass the time)so think before you buy, if its for a child, they'll get bored with it or pissed off.
