The press headlines are amusing just once. The whole thing requires several degrees in working out how to play the damm thing poor interface , poor instructions eg i wanted to pick an England squad and was told that i cant , my computer assitant picks it ???? Whats all that about??? utter rubbish it only gets 1 star becasue i cant mark it zero Hurry up LMA Manager 2008

HAVING BEEN AN ORIGINAL FAN OF LMA MANAGER I WAS DUBIOUS ABOUT BUYING FOOTBALL MANAGER BUT SUCCUMED AS THERE WAS NO SIGN ON THE HORIZON OF ANOTHER LMA. I ORIGINALLY BOUGHT FOOTBALL MANAGER 2007 AND WAS INSTANTLY IMPRESSED BY THE INFO AND DATA. IT HAD SO MUCH MORE DEPTH THAN LMA. MY ONLY GRIPE WAS THE LACK OF A 3D ENGINE. FM 2007 HAD THE ODD GLITCH OR TWO SO WHEN 2008 CAME OUT I WAS HOPING THEY HAD IRONED OUT THE PROBLEMS. WHAT CAN I SAY, FOR THE DIE HARD FOOTBALL FAN THIS IS EXCELLENT. I CANT STOP PLAYING AND THE WORSTE THING IS IT ACTUALLY TELLS YOU HOW MANY HOURS, DAYS AND WEEKS YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING IT. FRIGHTENING! I CANT SWITCH IT OFF. IF YOU HAVE EVER HAD DREAMS OF BEING ALEX FERGUSON OR ANY UP AND COMING MANAGER THIS MUST BE THE CLOSEST THING YOU CAN GET. BUY IT, PLAY IT, BUT PROMISE ME YOU'LL TURN IT OFF BEFORE DAYLIGHT!

This game for me is the greatest console management game ever has everything covered and was built from the ground up for console gamers. I still play it 5 years on the amount of detail included is amazing. I would recommend to console gamers who want an authentic football management experience.
