Midas Eternal Quest is een eenvoudige dungeon crawler met willekeurig gegenereerde kerkers, waardoor elke speelsessie anders is. De besturing is makkelijk te leren, maar de gameplay is erg beperkt en vijanden zijn weinig gevarieerd. Grafisch is het spel verouderd en onduidelijk, wat het speelplezier vermindert. Een groot nadeel is dat je na elke poging al je items en ervaring verliest, wat voor veel frustratie zorgt. De besturing en gevechten voelen bovendien traag aan. Voor liefhebbers van simpele, herhalende RPG’s kan het nog interessant zijn, maar verwacht geen diepgang of moderne kwaliteit.

I agree with Dave, you can spend hours sitting trying to get any higher than level one as you die right away, the enemies arent exactly hard but when you're that pathetic to start with its impossible to defeat anything... It would be fine if the graphics were even remotely impressive but it could have gone out on the playstation 1 and been considered acceptable...but only just! Avoid it at all costs, wish I had read that review before i wasted my money on it now

When you start this game you'll be so pathetically weak that you'll keep dying and having to restart. After about 20 attempts you might get to level 2 and be able to stay alive long enough to wander around the awful scenery but as soon as you do die you'll be straight back to the beginning. You can save a record of where you got to but you can't actually save your position meaning you're going to have to start from level one again and keep getting killed. In the game you can pick up various curses and sometimes you can find the cures but since items are randomly generated it is entirely a matter of luck as to whether you will survive and when you die, you're badck to level 1 again, but then again when you've seen one dungeon you've seen them all. Avoid this game. The publishers and developers don't deserve your money

yes i agree , I bought this cheap it looked good everyone was high leveled so i thought you can level up quickly but you are really weak to start with and i couldnt get past the first level until i found an amazing sword but i died at lvl 3 ! Its VERY hard !
