Not so fun

Got this game after my daughter was bugging me for months to buy it. Well, once she got it, she wasn't that impressed with it. She didn't quite share her dissatisfaction with Wing Island, other than saying it was "super boring". For few weeks all i've heard coming from her room was a sound of small airplane flying around, and then she finally called it quits :) Wii games are usually fun and engaging, and i can't remember ever having to sell or donate a wii game before, but i believe we resold this one.

A Lot of Fun

Really challenging at first. Searching for the different items you have to really work at it. Takes a litle too long to get in to the games.

Not what I was looking for

I was (am) looking for a game similar to the flying game in Wii Resort. I've found all but one of the locations there and enjoy relaxing and flying around the island. In this game, most of the time you're flying a formation of 5 planes at a time, the islands are not as detailed as Wii Resort and a lot more boxy. If you like this sort of thing, I found the missions challenging, but I'm not a die-hard gamer. There's no way to save more than one game or profile at a time, so, if the grandkids want to play, they either continue my game, or I have to start over.

Great for airplane enthusiasts

I bought this for my four year old as he loves airplanes. The variety of games is fun for him plus he gets to choose which plane he flies. It is one of his favorites.

Wing Island

Wing Island for the Nintendo Wii feels like a late Playstation 1 generation flight simulator that was given hope of survival simply because control of the plane is given to the Wiimote. Besides having the looks of something gamers played years ago the game also supports an awkward control scheme and music that sounds as if you stepped into an elevator.
