Bob the Builder Festival of Fun (Wii Nieuw)

This game is simply too hard (and hence too dull) for the demographic it is surely aimed at. Avoid.

wish I'd read these reviews before I bought this game. My bright 5 year old could not complete the games easily in the time limit and if he failed he had to go back to the beginning and start again from game 1. I tried to forge him ahead when he was in bed but gave up myself. (I'm 44) What a waste of £15 stick to peppa pig next time which has been recommended by a friend and is very child friendly

I've now seen two children (boy aged 5 & girl aged 7) both try to enjoy this game & both found it awkward & frustrating & after 20 minutes wanted to play wii sports or Carnival & never return to Bob again. It's incredible that the makers have failed here because the only demographic is toddlers (generally boys) & whilst the animations, chracters, etc are all here the gameplay totally lets it down which is crazy as even a very basic handful of games would have kept the kids happy. This is probably one of the instances where the makers could get away with being "lazy" due to it's tie-in popularity but they managed to produce something that just dosesn't work. When I was a kid I would have happily been glued to anything Star Wars no matter how simple or boring it was but instead of Bob the Builder fans getting a nice little wii game to while away an hour they've instead got a game which will frustrate them & leave parents wishing they'd never bought it.

got this game for my 5 year old who loves the wii and is generally quite good at it, but this game he found extremely hard. there is no explanation as to what you have to do on each level so leaves him a bit confused. he got to the third stage where you have to blow the leaves into the bag. it doesn't tell you if you need to put all the leaves in the bag or if you have to avoid the green spiky things. even as an adult I found this game too difficult. for a game that claims to be for a 3 year olds it is not very good

We thought this would be fun for our 5 year old lad. Unfortunately most of the game is too difficult. Mum and I tried to solve the third game, involving blowing leaves in to a bag. This is incredibly difficult. We couldn't do it. Game play way too hard for young people ( and older ones).. Highly unrecommended. We are going to get rid of this game very quickly.
