Mortal Kombat 4 - Windows

One of the best games of the franchise. Gameplay is super fast, frenetic and violent. Soundtrack is cool. The only downsides to this game is, of course, the goofy cutscenes, odd lore, lame final boss (Shang tsung from temu ✌, but atleast Goro is better), classic unfair ai enemies from the old arcades. But that's something you can get used to pretty quickly. And if you have some friends to play, you'll quickly see how crazy the matches are. Most characters are fairly balanced (except for Goro of course), and this game is pretty easy to learn and play, combos are easy and specials are very simple, so everyone can be a pro. It would be cool if this game gets a well deserved remaster that adds more content and stuff (like MK gold on the dreamcast), but the game has aged very well so it's still a very great experience in general.

The game's menu is its deficiency. I cannot simply start with 2 controllers being enabled and an intuitive pattern of buttons to click on

cant even change keyboard buttons, virtually unplayable

I just used Steam Input to configure my Xbox Series controller and that´s all, game is purrfect, runs purrfect on Windows 11! I would like to see Mk Gold...
