Sim City 2000 is perfect for the beginners to the Sim series. Its best to start off with sc2000 then later on progress on to Sim City 3000 and The Sims. I recommened it!

When I bought this game i didn't have high expectations but it still hugely disapionted me. although it's fun letting a monster loose on your city, it's hard to understand the controls and i haf to open the help menu every 20 seconds. my advice: if you want to buy a game where you control a city, buy tropico instead. it's much better and more fun.
