20+ years old and still great to play. You need good tactics to win otherwise the AI will crush you. Protect your archers and deploy expedable troops to whittle down the AI counter attacks. Great playing with an ally against 2 enemies.

Original Praetorians. Highly underated. Quite a good game. Entertaining and enjoyable. If you want to improve the graphics because you feel they are a bit to outdated for you, don't go for the lazy "Remaster" with insane price tag. Get the original and apply a Mod yourself (e.g. Mods Complex). Get this, before they remove it too (like Commandos)!

Game is ok. 3.5/5 Unbalanced - definitely. But fun strategy game. Not excuse me I have to ambush some soldiers...

You have alot of cool units to mess around with and cool formations to do with cool tactics. But then all the maps are claustrophobic and you can't do any of those cool things because all of your units drink nothing but lead and even if you have them on Defensive they will still get baited into ambushes without your input, even when you click them away they still autistically screech to their deaths.
