PES 2008 Pro Evolution Soccer (PS3 Used Game)

This game is fun and extremely playable. The ball physics are excellent which makes each game unpredictable. It's like a classic car - doen't have all the mod cons but it's great to drive and has passion - something which is lacking in the newer versions of Pes, yes technically great but without the passion. Plus you can play with players such as : Henrik Larsson, Roberto Carlos, Figo, Rui Costa, Del Piero etc !

I liked this product because it is a huge improvement from the previous version. Similar products do not have as much detail and accuracy.

PES 2008 is a lame excuse for a next gen game. Unforgivable technical issues mean that you're better off reverting to the last ps2 game than shelling out 60 euro on this. Will someone please release a genuinely great PS3 game?

I pre ordered this game as to me it was the most anticipated game on PS3 to date, not that thats hard but the excitement you get waiting for the new pro evo is surpassed by no other game. All in all i am shocked that a game could take such a step backwards in performance and playability. online mode is frustratingly bad with players disapearing and ending up scoring without a chance to defend, as the person i played had full interent connection and mine is perfect there are far to many glitches on this game, even in hd the replays are sluggish and below par for a next gen football game. i have tried my hardest to give this game a chance and the odd goal has bought a smile to my face but i cant help feeling what a let down this game is. Buy fifa because i have never felt that licenses matter over gameplay but now fifa has both and in my opinion is a far superior game to this very dispointing effort by konami.

I recently bought this game for my PS3 and have to say its a huge let down after all the hype. It does have a horrible frame rate which becomes annoying and interupts the slickness of the play. Graphics are pretty average, plus the camera angles are weird. Also the quality of the pitches are quite drab and scratty and its harder to see the ball. For £44 its a complete disappointment, I will be getting a refund. I played Pro Evo 6 on XBOX 360 and that was mint - even with limited options and an LCD TV the graphics and gameplay were fantastic. I am having serious doubts about the PS3, after a few games it still does not feel like a next gen console. Sure the online capabilities are great but as far as graphics are concerned I think the XBOX pips it at the post slightly. And graphics are important!
