Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War biedt een unieke combinatie van strategie en actie, waarbij je als huurling verschillende eenheden aanvoert op grote slagvelden. De variatie in eenheden en het progressiesysteem zorgen voor diepgang, en je hebt veel vrijheid in het kiezen van missies. Wel wordt de gameplay na verloop van tijd repetitief, en je personage speelt een beperkte rol in het verhaal. De besturing is niet altijd even soepel en de graphics zijn inmiddels verouderd. Voor liefhebbers van tactische actie is het een interessante keuze, maar verwacht geen moderne presentatie of diepgaand verhaal.

Not much I can say that others didn't but I love this game. It's a really addictive and long game with a lot of nostalgia for me since I played it non stop when it came out. It has a massive amount of weapon and soldier types as well as armor. But the biggest thing about this is the sense of being in a army as opposed to stuff like dynasty warriors where you feel ( or actually ARE ) a god amongst men in blade storm your practically useless without a group because of the equally large, some times smaller or larger groups the enemies have. It's a great medieval war game and a great RTS game that I love.

This game is so great that it makes me want to go to England! U need good strategies and patience for this game. At first i didnt have much patience, lets just say i wasnt the best mercenary in the game at first. But it requires practice to do what u need to do. If ur stragetic GET THIS GAME!!!!

I would play the game for hours if i was able to. I love using the Shield and Sword units especially when they are higher level than the enemy. This game is very addicting and is fun. A lot of people will enjoy it very much. I played this game mostly when psn went down. its very long and you can work between factions so you have more fun in this RPG
