Pinball and metrovania all in one sweet little package. Just like any other pinball game it can get a bit difficult at times but that is the beauty of it all. Simple controls and fun game mechanics. Replay value is there. I think that Yoku will be around for a while and leaves a impression on me and I have played alot of games in my days. Pick it up its worth a play.

This is a very unique game that combines pinball physics with platforming and puzzle solving. It would be a mistake to wave this off as a children's game. It is easy to be swept into the game's narrative and its storybook art style. Patience is required and the game does not do a lot of hand holding but there is great satisfaction when a goal is achieved.

I bought this game almost a month ago and have completed (according to the game) 70% of the game. Some parts of the game are too hard and have nothing to do with pinball flippers. The parts that are too hard have to do with the ball being caught by a plant and being spun continuously in a circle until you can aim and release it to fling it to a ledge or to be caught by the next plant to be spun and aimed again and so on. The ball spins around the plant hub too fast to be aimed accurately and accuracy is essential! If you cannot spin through a series of 3 of these plant hubs and then aim accurately at the ledge you cannot proceed to the next area of the game. I gave up after about an hour of trying repeatedly to aim accurately and then starting over when I miss. Too Hard!!! The parts where I aim with the flippers are fun, however, and it has been a long time since I have played a pinball game.
