I played it in offline mode and my gog is still offline on my computer as I currently don't have WiFi, that is why the time doesn't match up with me actually finishing the game. But I did finish it and it took me about 11 hours to finish it, it was such a fun game and I recommend it to anyone that likes action games it was a fun game from start to finish. I even enjoyed the side content and I usually don't enjoy the side content in a lot of games, give it a shot if you haven't already!

Killer is Dead is the odd one out of Suda 51's/Grasshopper's back catalog. Suda's actual involvement with the product was pretty much zero outside of some basic concepting, and if you don't go in expecting his distinct style to be anything other than emulated then you'll probably be alright. A solid hack and slash that is mostly style over substance, but still manages to be pretty fun. The biggest issue with the game is that it ends right when it's ramping up. There's twelve main missions total, (really closer to nine/ten given the first two are barely worth noting and a few are really obnoxious walky/talky sections) leave the game feeling incredibly unfinished. By the time I felt like the game was sliding into a really stylish and satisfying loop it was over, and that's not to mention how the story effectively means nothing and goes nowhere, vague for the sake of vague. Still, it was an enjoyable experience, I'd get it on sale if you want to kill a couple afternoons.

The artstyle sets a dark tone and atmosphere. The gameplay is pretty good, simple hack and slash. However, the PC port is not great for the following reasons: 31fps lock 1080p is the highest resolution the game can be played in Crashed during the first mission
