Air Conflicts: Vietnam biedt een breed scala aan vliegtuigen en helikopters, met afwisselende missies die je zowel in de lucht als op de grond bezighouden. Het wisselen tussen voertuigen tijdens een missie voegt strategie toe. Toch wordt het spel al snel repetitief, vooral door de eenvoudige AI en het gebrek aan diepgang in de campagne. De besturing van helikopters is lastig, en de graphics zijn gedateerd. Multiplayer kan leuk zijn, maar het spel is vooral geschikt voor liefhebbers van Vietnam-thema’s of casual flight games, niet voor wie een moderne, realistische vluchtsimulator zoekt. Verwacht geen hoogstaande ervaring, maar wel een betaalbare, toegankelijke titel met een nostalgisch tintje.

This game is horrible unless you find it somewhere for free. The gameplay is stick, flight controls laughable, and graphics are flat. The thing that really seemed to make me mad is that it was filled with negative dialogue cloaked as letters from home. The geopolitical overlay attempts were stupid. Pass this game up. If you were a creator or advisor on this game then you should be ashamed of yourself.
