Spell Force Complete Collection /PC

First game good but gameplay is slow (not computer speed, gameplay speed). Second game disk was scratched (too late to return game); so I don't know how good it is. Third game came through Steam. Better/faster than first game but after a few hours the game stopped being able to load an existing game. Contacted Steam and they referred me to the makers of the game. They wanted to "diagnose" the problem by me letting them take control of my computer. Not going to happen! So I am left with one working game out of three.

Initially we had a problem registering the keys provided, but thanks to some forums and a little common sense we to get it sorted. Installed and running now and my wife is enjoying playing a game she became addicted to a few years ago, if you’re a former spellforce player or looking to start well worth the price. If you do have a problem registering try running the shortcut as administrator and then entering the key (think it trys to place an entry in the registry and does not have permission to right it), exit the game after and relaunch it should not request the key this time round.

This game installed with no problems, but at first I couldn't get the older games to start. (I had no problem activating the third game on Steam and it downloaded and ran great. After checking around I managed to get all the game to run well. I'm still not really sure what I did as one minute I was having problems and the next all the games were running great. I was really interested in the attempt to have a game that allows you to go from the standard over head C&C type view to a third person view by using the mouse wheel. The game played well for me once the startup problems were solved. A good set of games for your collection and I am really enjoying them.

Bought this product a couple months ago and still play it almost every day (still playing the first game). Some have said it was too easy. That they could get through the first game in 25 to 30 hours (played at the low difficulty level. Try it at high level and say that :) I have had an army of 80 warriors get creamed in 20 seconds. Had to change my tactics to win the map. There are no classes. You make up your own. I like mages and I have built several types. Also like it that it does not require an Internet connection for all but the last game. Each game has hundreds of quests, but they are not like other games that make you kill 25 critters to complete it. These quests take hours if not days to complete. Some require doing multiple tasks (I love it). This is truly a great game and the websites are still active with people playing all over the world.

this is the 3rd version i have purchased, need i say more. has kept me busy on many a weekend. well worth the money.
