Mirror's Edge biedt een unieke ervaring met zijn parkour-platformactie in een opvallende, minimalistische stad. De gameplay draait om snelheid en behendigheid, waarbij je vaak vijanden ontwijkt in plaats van vecht. De grafische stijl is nog steeds memorabel, maar het verhaal is vrij oppervlakkig en de gevechten voelen vaak onhandig aan. Spelers kunnen verschillende routes kiezen, wat creativiteit beloont, maar soms leidt dit tot frustrerende trial-and-error momenten. Na het uitspelen is de herspeelbaarheid beperkt, vooral als je niet geïnteresseerd bent in time trials.

Played it a couple of years ago and fell in love. Replayed it only a couple of days back and understood exactly why I loved this game in the first place. I felt like I was zipping right by everything, feeling almost instinctually where and how to go. It's lean while also giving the player a couple of different choices as to how to execute. The story is...well, nonexistent or outright boring. But I consider this game pretty much the gold standard in 3d platforming

I remember playing this game on my PS3 back in the day, so glad it has been preserved on GOG. Still an under rated gem, which has aged well, back when EA made great games.

This game used to go hard but even my nostalgia for it couldn't save it from being uninstalled. I mean the graphics are great, performance is ok but the mechanics kinda aged like milk. Parcour is great for it's time, but the second game is def better in almost every way. Too Bad
