Dead to Rights offers intense, cinematic shootouts and a classic revenge story that feels like an 80s action movie, but the gameplay can become repetitive and lacks depth. The shooting is fun, especially with slow-motion dives and human shields, but the hand-to-hand combat is weak and the graphics feel dated. The story is engaging, but the voice acting is mixed and some levels overstay their welcome. If you enjoy straightforward, chaotic action, it’s worth a try, but don’t expect much strategy or polish.

The game arrived well into the time window promised, but in better than expected condition. It looks barely used. And I might know why. First, a quick bio. I'm 45 years old. I've been gaming since Pong came out. So, I know a little about video games. Dead to Rights is lame. The graphics are ok. Nothing to get excited about. The PS2's abilities aren't even slightly pushed. Audio is decent. Perhaps the best feature of this title. Story is weaker than a Lifetime movie of the week. Controls are somewhat clunky feeling, and not intuitive. It took a while to learn the basics. Even then, the POV can be more damaging to your progress than the enemies you are (easily) dispatching. Replay value? None.

I chose the 5 star rating as my bro whom plays it greatly enjoys this game. Plus when i orderred this item I was shown that there is a version 2, which my bro did not think had been made. So i ordered both games.. to the great enjoyment from my bro when this came in.. as i had not told him about the version 2 also ordered. *grin*. To top off his joy.. I ordered this item at 2pm central time, chose 2nd day shipping as bro "really likes that game". The games did not arrive in 2 days. They arrived 28 HOURS after the order was placed. Our thanks to IGEX Electronics for getting these shipped out faster than expected. By doing that you made a disabled mans day .. and mine as i am the one whom saw the huge grin of appreciation.
