Dead Space PC

As in the titile, this game still has this thing which pulled me into it, even 20 years later and a remaster available. Wish a sequel would be available on GOG.

I tried to play this on a PC with keyboard and mouse. Unplayable, the sluggish mouse response with a lagging aiming makes the whole experience a nightmare. You simply cannot aim at all, it feels like aiming with jelly hands and a drunk character. I've read online that this is a known problem and recommendation is to use a Xbox controller. Well, that's exactly why i got the PC to not play FPS games with a console pad.

This is one of the best horror games of all time and runs even better on PC.

What a truly horrifying yet magical experience playing this for the first time was. How I slept on this game and never gave it a play through genuinely boggles my mind but I'm grateful i got to experience it finally. I just beat the game on medium for my first time recently live on stream and it was so damn satisfying & terrifying all the way to the finish. If you have never given this a go, it's a must play! I did have 2 crashes(One in the beginning when you go back on and attempt to board your ship and the explosion happens) and later into the game what seemed to be an audio bug that caused a crash. Aside from that considering the games age it ran very smooth and I was even running it at 120hz & 120 FPS in 1440P yet I see everyone saying it breaks past 60, wasn't the case for me with an i7 13700K & a 4070 and I didn't mod it at all either. I also played with an xbox controller. Give this a shot & you won't regret it!
