What a truly horrifying yet magical experience playing this for the first time was. How I slept on this game and never gave it a play through genuinely boggles my mind but I'm grateful i got to experience it finally. I just beat the game on medium for my first time recently live on stream and it was so damn satisfying & terrifying all the way to the finish. If you have never given this a go, it's a must play! I did have 2 crashes(One in the beginning when you go back on and attempt to board your ship and the explosion happens) and later into the game what seemed to be an audio bug that caused a crash. Aside from that considering the games age it ran very smooth and I was even running it at 120hz & 120 FPS in 1440P yet I see everyone saying it breaks past 60, wasn't the case for me with an i7 13700K & a 4070 and I didn't mod it at all either. I also played with an xbox controller. Give this a shot & you won't regret it!

before playing make sure to turn v sync off in the game options, and turn it back on in you GPU settings (also make the fps max 60 or the game WILL break)

This is one of the best survival horror games out there. It's a total steal to buy it when it's on discount here. I am waiting for Dead Space 2 and 3 to be released here so I can add them to my collection. You only need to make the following changes: - Disable vsync in the game - Limit the FPS to 60 for this game in your GPU control panel - Install "Dead Space Mouse Fix" from the PC Gaming Wiki --- The remake of Dead Space was created by Unitologists.
