You're in the Movies is een origineel partygame voor de Xbox 360 waarbij je met de camera zelf acteert in korte, grappige filmpjes. Het spel is vooral leuk met vrienden of familie en geschikt voor alle leeftijden. Er zijn veel verschillende genres en mini-games, maar de techniek werkt niet altijd even goed: de camera herkent bewegingen soms slecht, vooral bij weinig licht. De mini-games worden snel saai en er is niet heel veel variatie. Je kunt je eigen films opslaan en delen, wat leuk is, maar de graphics zijn matig en de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding valt tegen. Kortom: leuk voor een avondje lachen, maar niet geschikt voor langdurig plezier.

Welcome to 'You're In The Movies,' a video game that you will only ever play once with your friends whilst drunk. Unless you're in a white room, good rendering is near impossible, which means hard and boring minigames and overall a awful 'movie'. I use that term very lightly.

Grandchildren (6 and 10) came for the afternoon. Out of all the Connect games that we brought for them, this was by far their favorite. It not only put them in the film, it gave them games to play between acting roles and spoke to them like they were real actors in a movie, then, when completed let them watch the short movie with them in it. Then at the end of the making of each film it awarded one of them an award for best actress or actor. This was the icing on the cake for them, at the end of the afternoon when their mum came to collect them they were full of all these acting roles and wanted to show mum all their films. Short but entertaining films and very cleaver. I must admit I did act in one film, I found it fun but exhausting and I now know that I am no actress, did not fair much better with the wonderful games between acting. This movie maker is fun, and great value for money. Cleaver and entertaining and much better expected.

Not exactly an outright deceptive description but misleading. Does the description expressly include a camera, no but it is implied by the fact that the photo is of the pack that does include the camera and every other seller on amazon goes out of their way to specify that it is just the game. Also previous customers who purchased with this seller obviously got the pack with the camera included so don't rely on those reviews ( my mistake). If you want just the game you'll be happy.The game itself was fine and shipping was prompt but bottom line........I feel kinda duped and dissatisfied.

BAH, I wanted the cam.. Now I have 2 copies of a crap game and my old broken vision cam.. I should have known better but look at that photo! Does it not look like camera is in front of the game.. Why did they have to use an actual size photo on the cover.. stupid me!
