Borderlands voor PC staat bekend om zijn enorme hoeveelheid content, unieke grafische stijl en sterke co-op gameplay. Spelers prijzen vooral de herspeelbaarheid en het grote aanbod aan wapens en missies. De humor en het visuele ontwerp maken het spel onderscheidend. Wel zijn er nadelen: sommige bazen zijn oneerlijk moeilijk, het verhaal en de missies kunnen na verloop van tijd repetitief worden, en veel wapendrops lijken op elkaar. Voor liefhebbers van loot-shooters en co-op is dit een aanrader, maar wie veel variatie zoekt in missies of wapens moet rekening houden met deze beperkingen.

As mentioned in the Q&A section, this game will not install. Breaks down on the Release Date Check after you've been trying to install it for an hour. You USED to be able to get around this by using the Borderlands Granting Tool on Steam, but that also failed and support.2k.com informed me they have STOPPED supporting this feature. So basically I was screwed. Paid for the game, waited weeks for it to arrive, and was not even able to play it once. All the different support organizations I contacted failed to offer any useful help, and the seller would want me to pay more to return the game than I would have gotten as a refund.

Installation is not coming through. The security check fails. Try to follow instructions for offline. O, can't even download installation file - network fails!!!

Played it on PS3 along time ago, 10x better on PC. No FOV adjustment but you will get used to the FOV as you play.

Much better than the PS3 version. Be sure that you're buying a copy that has a valid STEAM code or you're wasting your money. Totally worth it for 4K resolution and hilarious, over the top fun gameplay.
